No matter the distro, the kernel can always be compiled the same way.I've never used slax but this example (184.108.40.206) should work: # wget ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-220.127.116.11bz2 # tar xvf linux-18.104.22.168bz2 -C /usr/src/ # cd /usr/src/linux-22.214.171.124 # make menuconfig # make && make modules-install # cp -v arch/i386/bz Image /boot/linux-126.96.36.199 # cp -v /boot/System.map-188.8.131.52 make menuconfig is where you specify all your kernel build options that are placed in .config in the src root dir. These additions should not be limited to AFROS itself, but the underlying OS's, Free Mi NT, and SLAX, to provide a smoother and more usable "everyday desktop" experience, while providing the basis for protable development and proto- typing environment. supply of a supplemental alternative which may contain non-AFROS qualified applications AFROS - A FRee Operating System (predominantly running on) ARAny M - Atari Running on Any Machine see: A/ARAny M/Atari ST FRee Operating System.AFROS was originally introduced to take advantage of ARAny M's virtual 68040 Atari ST compatable machine. You initialize a variable by following the variable name with an equal sign (=) and an expression. As such, you can never change the value of the variable after it is initialized in the declaration.Although you cannot directly update the value of the variable, you can mimic the effect by recursively calling a function and passing in the value of the variable as a parameter. In the declaration, the variable name is prefixed with the dollar sign ($), which is unlike the XSLT declaration, where the dollar sign does not prefix the value of the element.Once you declare a variable, you can reference it within an XPath expression using the variable name prefixed with a dollar sign ($).
(AFROS FS 8.12) (AFROS-Update 9.09) ARAny M is currently v1.0.2, but they have recently updated the repo to allow SCSI access on the host OS, combined with a free driver available from HDdriver creator Uwe Seimet (works on Hatari too).
4 years ago I tried to make another Slax update, following the progress of KDE, Xorg and other software, but I got some issues again with KDE's task bar not being drawn properly.
I have to admit that this drives me crazy :) So I guess it will be better to wait for another KDE update.
